Rock Africa - GeoZone GeoServices

As part of the service to the Engineering and Mining industries, Rock Africa is able to provide engineering solutions for a host of different rock mechanics and rock engineering problems via their association with GeoZone GeoServices. GeoZone has as part of their team Mr Rod Whyte, who studied for his Masters degree in rock engineering under the great Evert Hoek at Imperial College, and Mr Gerald Davie who obtained his Masters degree from another fine institution, the University of Leeds. Between the two of them they have in excess of 75 years experience which they can bring to the table. They are well versed in all things related to slope stability and underground excavations, with experience gained in Southern Africa, Europe and the Middle East. For more information please click here or on the Geozone logo below.

Plugging into this expertise is the Swiss Geobrugg team, who know their product intimately and have had enormous experience in various applications throughout the world. Geobrugg has also developed their own in-house software to analyse rockfall problems and solutions, which adds additional capability to the standard slope stability analysis software that is commercially available.
