Rock Africa is the official Geobrugg agent for Africa through their association with Nautical Steel. This is backed up by engineering design from GeoZone GeoServices, and installation capacity from Alpinist Safety Consultants. The company is uniquely placed to assist throughout the SADC region and beyond due to their complementary experience and skills. Geobrugg is the world leader in the manufacture of rockfall protection systems, and their products have been independently tested by BAFU (Swiss Federal Office for the Environment) and ETAG (European Technology Assessment Group) and their standards have been included into the European codes. Their nearest competitor, although claiming to have equivalent products, has not submitted them for the same rigourous testing, which in itself speaks volumes.
